Rabbit Milk

About a week ago when I went out in the morning to check on my rabbits a thought crossed my mind. Can you guess what it was? The title for this post should be a pretty good clue. Yep, you guessed it: "What does rabbit milk taste like?" Some of you might think "ugh-gross." But nope, that thought didn't cross my mind. The only thought in my mind was "There's only one way to find out." So I went over and picked up Myrtle who was nursing at the time, laid her on her back, found one of her nipples, and squeezed. Sure enough a drop of milk formed on her teat. I dabbed my finger in it, then licked my finger. What do you think it tasted like? A few adventurous young boys might say "Lion's milk?" or "Bear's milk." But I would probably be all over the news it if tasted like baboon's milk. I wish it did, but no it didn't, it just tasted like plain old goat milk. Some things don't turn out as exciting as you had hoped. But remember, as the Bible says "...give thanks in all circumstances." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Bunnies!

Two days ago, on April 14th, Cumin gave birth to eight wiggly little bunnies! I plan to have these bunnies available for sale after they are size weeks old which will be after May 16th. Visit our For Sale page for more info on how to reserve your bunny!
